Most operations software is sold as one big bundle you don't need. We're building the opposite: every Backbone product stands on its own, priced on its own, sold on its own. They share a model layer because they're built by the same team — not because we're forcing you into a stack you didn't ask for.
When two products genuinely belong together — like Backbone IMS and Scan2Stock — we'll bundle them and price the pair. When they don't, we won't. Mechanic and HobbyAI are not "synergies." They're different products, for different people, sold separately.
Six rules. That's the list.
Independent products.
Every product earns its price on its own merits. If you only need one, that's the only one you buy.
Real bundles only.
We bundle two products only when they're genuinely better together — same audience, same workflow, same value.
Shipping in public.
Quarter-stamped roadmap. Live, beta, drafting — clearly marked. If a date slips, we say so, the day we know.
No "contact us" gate.
Pricing is visible. Bundles are visible. Discontinuations are visible. The only thing we hide is your data.
We answer email.
Founders read the inbox. If you're a customer, the person on the other end of the thread is the person who built it.
Operators, not consultants.
We don't sell engagements, slide decks, or six-week discovery sprints. We sell products. They either work, or you cancel.
